New To Online Listening? There are several
ways to tune in...
With an Internet Radio
If you buy one of the many Internet Radios
and have Broadband installed (usually with a WiFi network), you can
listen to radio2XS without using your PC - just like FM or AM radio.
This is an increasingly popular method and you can search for Internet
Radios at Amazon, including our recommended
models here.
With a Mobile Device
Listen anywhere - even in the car -
with your iPhone, Nokia 5800 and others. We recommend tuning in via
Moodio: we have tested it the length
and breadth of England and it's very reliable. If your network's not
too clever, it's the ideal solution. In the UK, Orange and 3 come out
best for 3G (fast) mobile coverage with 02 worst, so choose your Network
provider carefully. Coverage
maps here. We have a page for iPhone users here.
With A PC or Mac
If you are new to online radio listening, here's
some help on how to tune-in to radio2XS. First, don't forget to connect
the audio output of your computer to your stereo system to hear us in
fab near-cd quality with our new Flash stream. You'll probably need
a "mini-jack (3.5mm) - to - phono (RCA)" connector
- ask your dealer.
1 - Using our Tuner
With a computer, this is one of two easy ways to listen. Just click
the link and we should play immediately in HiFi stereo, provided your
computer has Flash installed (and most do). Just click here.
2 - Using a Widget
Another simple way is to download a Widget (small program) which tunes
in for you. You will need to have
Yahoo Widgets installed on your PC (or Dashboard on Macs). Once
you have, simply download and install the radio2XS
Flash player from us here.
3 - And if you really want to, you can use a standard heritage player
(Windows Media, Real Player, Winamp, VLC, iTunes, etc). Just select
from the options here. Where there are multiple links, save the one
that works best on your PC by right-clicking and saving the Link to
your Desktop for future listening.
